Captain Darren Hartmann is DTW-based and flies the A320. He began his airline career in 1998 at Northwest Airlines and joined Delta when the companies merged in 2008. He most recently served as the DTW Council 20 Chair and Captain Representative. He also served as Council 20 Vice Chair.
Captain Hartmann earned a Bachelor of Management degree and a degree in Aviation maintenance and technology from Southern Illinois University. He lives in Chicago, Il. with his wife and two sons.
