Contract 2026 Education Launches with Delta Pilot Contract History |
|
Preparation for the exchange of Contract 2026 openers next April are underway. The Delta Pilot Contract History is the first in a series of publications the Negotiating Committee will be distributing to prepare pilots for the Section 6 process. This document covers pilot contracts from Delta and Northwest, along with the environment for each negotiation, dating back to the late 1990s.

|  | Next steps in the Contract 2026 preparation process include:
- Later this summer, you will receive a detailed Contract Comparison that illustrates how our PWA stacks up against our peers, providing an opportunity to see where our contract leads the industry and where we still lag.
- This fall, the Negotiating Committee will launch the Contract Survey, which gives every Delta pilot the opportunity to weigh in on their priorities for Contract 2026. This survey, in addition to periodic statistically valid polling, provides the means for every Delta pilot to influence the priorities for our next contract.
- In late 2025/early 2026, your elected representatives will provide direction to the Negotiating Committee based on pilot feedback. This direction guides the Negotiating Committee’s priorities throughout the entire Section 6 process.
