New Pay Rates Effective January 1, 2025

Per Section 3 of the Delta Pilot Working Agreement, baseline composite hourly pay rates will increase by 4% on January 1, 2025. This represents a cumulative 31.4% increase in pay rates since Contract 2019 took effect in March 2023, including the “me too” clause following United’s contract.

The final pay rate increase of 4% will occur on January 1, 2026 – for a total cumulative increase of 36.7% over the life of the contract. See chart below.

Additionally, as outlined in Contract Administration Bulletin 24-05, new per diem rates per PWA Section 5 B. for both International and Domestic locations will take effect on January 1, 2025.

Most of Contract 2019’s 200-plus provisions are now in effect. The final items listed below will be implemented this spring.

March 2, 2025

  • Training Scheduling Preferences (22 I.)
  • Short Calls Available in PBS (23 D.)
  • Pilot X-Day Swap (23 F. 1. b.)
  • Jetway Trades (23. BB.)

Thanks to the Delta pilots’ solidarity and engagement during Contract 2019 negotiations, our PWA raised the bar for the industry and set the stage for continued pattern bargaining. Look for more information about the implementation of these final provisions in the coming weeks.

Happy New Year!
