HOGS, HOPS, AND WARBIRDS FAMILY AWARENESS EVENT

The Delta MEC invites all Delta pilots, families and friends to a Family Awareness event in Peachtree City, GA, at Airbase Georgia on Sunday, May 17, from 3 - 7 p.m. During the event, attendees can enjoy the festivities, meet the MEC Officers and Negotiating Committee, and learn more about their role in the process of securing a stronger future for us all. The strength of our unity comes from both pilots and the important people in our lives who support us every day.

While an RSVP is not required to attend, it is strongly encouraged to help with planning. A limited number of Uber vouchers are also available.

COME MEET YOUR MEC OFFICERS & NEGOTIATORS

Hogs, Hops and Warbirds will feature whole hogs roasted on site by Curious Pig as well as a variety of southern cuisine for all tastes and ages. Spring craft beer selections from Line Creek Brewing on tap as well as a carefully curated wine list will be open to all adults. Uber credits are available. For the kids, there will be bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, fire trucks displays, police K-9 demonstrations and other fun activities and attractions. For the adults, there will be music and the opportunity to speak with MEC leadership and ALPA volunteers from many committees. 

The event is being hosted at Airbase Georgia, home to many vintage warbirds which will make for an amazing backdrop to enjoy times with your fellow Delta pilots. Pilots are encouraged to fly in to the event! Those who RSVP will receive no tie down fees and ‘based aircraft’ fuel prices from Falcon Field KFFC.
